Women’s Golf Goals: What Actually Lowered Your Scores? ⛳️💚

Hi ladies, I’ve been thinking a lot about my golf goals lately, and instead of just saying “lower my score” or “break 90,” I’m trying to figure out what actually moves the needle. So I started tracking a few things during my rounds, and it’s been eye-opening: * How many penalty shots I take * Number of 3-putts per round * Missed short putts (inside 6 feet 😬) Turns out, my scores weren’t about hitting longer drives — it was all the little mistakes adding up. So my new women’s golf goals look like this: • Zero penalty shots per round • No more than one 3-putt • Commit to every shot (no second-guessing) It already feels more realistic and way less overwhelming than chasing a number. I love having these kinds of women’s golf talk discussions because everyone’s approach is different, and sometimes one small tip can completely change your game. 👉 What specific golf goals actually helped you lower your scores? 👉 Did you focus more on short game, course management, or swing technique? 👉 Any “aha” moment that made a big difference? Would love to hear what’s worked for you — trying to play smarter, not just harder this season! 💖⛳️

This is such a great way to look at it 👏 I had the exact same realization — I kept chasing lower scores, but it wasn’t until I focused on the small things that my game actually improved. For me, the biggest difference came from reducing 3-putts and penalty shots. I didn’t realize how much those were adding up each round. One thing that helped me was tracking my putts per round and really working on lag putting. Even just getting the ball closer to the hole on the first putt made a huge difference in my scores. Also completely agree — it’s not about hitting longer drives, it’s about playing smarter golf. Love this kind of women’s golf talk — these are the conversations that actually help people improve!
