Walking vs Riding – Which Do You Prefer on the Golf Course?
Hi everyone,
I was out on the course this weekend and noticed more and more players choosing to walk instead of taking a golf cart. It got me thinking — which do you prefer?
Walking 18 holes definitely feels healthier and gives me time to enjoy the course layout. I’ve heard some golfers say they even play better because it keeps their rhythm steady between shots. On the other hand, riding in a cart is quicker, easier on the legs, and definitely a relief in the Florida heat! 🌴☀️
Some courses near me are even advertising themselves as “walker-friendly,” with shorter distances between holes and paved paths for push carts. Others almost expect you to ride, especially the longer championship courses.
👉 Do you usually walk with a push cart or carry your bag?
👉 Or do you prefer the convenience of a golf cart ride?
👉 Have you noticed a difference in your score or stamina when walking vs riding?
Curious to hear what everyone else does — maybe I’ll switch it up next round!
