Planning a Golf Round for you and your friends can be stress free

So i have planned multiple golf rounds, using the Plan A Round button at top of this forum. What i can say is as follows => So you just have to book tee times first, then click the Plan A Round button above, you fill in the form , you only need to input the first tee time and how many tee times booked. Make sure you search the correct course that you booked tee times on. Then you can add your friends as guests (their email is needed) or if they are forum members already you just use their usernames (note the app remembers your friends if they are added as friends for future rounds. Speficy the cut off time (this is the latest time you want to give your firnds to RSVP. Then the app does all the rest , it will send the RSVP invites to all your friends via app notifications and emails too , and the app collect their RSVPs , so you will be able to see in real time who has responded , who is yet to respond , if more people responded with a yes rsvp than your tee times can hold , the excess will be sent to waitlist automatically. And if spots later become available (say if a current player decides not to play), those waitlisted get automatically get marked as playing. So it does all the administrative work in the background so you dont have to. Also it randomly assigns players to the tee times, so friends can be reassured they get to play with everyone equally over time. All player tee time assignments are communicated to players. So as the organizer of the round your job is made so much easier!!!!!!

When Golf Balls Have a Mind of Their Own 🤯😂

Okay, tell me I’m not the only one this happens to… Last week, I teed off on a par 4 with a perfect drive (at least it felt perfect). The ball went dead straight for about 150 yards — and then, out of nowhere, it took the weirdest bounce off a sprinkler head and shot sideways into the rough. My friends were crying laughing while I stood there wondering if the ball was haunted. 👻⛳️ Golf balls really do have a sense of humor sometimes — between hitting trees and bouncing back at us, skipping across water, or somehow finding the one cart path on the course. 👉 What’s the funniest or strangest bounce you’ve ever had on the golf course? 👉 Ever had a “lucky” bad shot that somehow turned out better than planned? 👉 Or one of those classic ricochets where the ball goes everywhere except forward? Can’t wait to hear your stories — because if there’s one thing we all share, it’s that golf balls love to embarrass us at the best possible moments. 😅

Golf Confession Time – What’s Your Guilty Little Secret on the Course?

Alright ladies, it’s confession time. ⛳️😅 I’ll go first: Sometimes when I’m keeping score for the group, I’ve been tempted to “forget” that extra putt I took… especially on a tough hole. Don’t worry, I always end up writing the real number, but it definitely crosses my mind! Another one — I keep a “backup ball” in my pocket and if I hit one into the woods, I’ve been known to sneakily drop it nearby when no one’s looking. 🙈 So here’s my question: 👉 What’s YOUR golf confession? 👉 Ever given yourself a “free drop” that maybe wasn’t so free? 👉 Or do you carry way more tees, balls, or snacks than you’ll ever admit to? No judgment here — just a fun space to share the little things we do on the course that maybe don’t make it onto the scorecard. 😉

Finally Found My Go-To Driver – Here’s What Changed My Game!

Hey ladies, I just had to share this because I’m still buzzing from my last round. For months I was struggling with my drives — either slicing into the rough or topping the ball completely. It was getting so frustrating that I actually considered switching to a 3-wood off the tee just to keep the ball in play. Last weekend, I stopped by the local golf shop “just to browse” (famous last words 🤭) and the fitter handed me the new TaylorMade Qi10 driver. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much difference… but wow. • Shaft: Ladies flex graphite, 45g weight • Loft: 12° (adjustable) • Grip: Midsize Golf Pride CPX With the right setup, I’m suddenly getting 20–25 yards more carry and straighter ball flight. I even hit a personal best — 235 yards down the middle on the par-5 6th at Mangrove Bay. For anyone else struggling with driver consistency, here’s what really helped me: 1. Get a proper fitting – even just a free 15-min trial at the shop. 2. Check your grip size – mine was too small before. 3. Loft is your friend – higher loft helped me launch the ball without ballooning. 4. Lightweight shaft – gave me more speed without losing control. Has anyone else tried the Qi10 or switched drivers recently? I’d love to hear what’s working for you — especially for those of us in the 80–90 mph swing speed range. See you on the fairways!

Reply in: Do golf shoes actually make a difference?

Also depends on the course — if it’s wet or uneven, golf shoes help a lot.

Reply in: 👉 Best golf balls for beginners? Are expensive ones worth it?

Yes it does make a difference, especially around the greens. But for beginners I’d say stick with something affordable and consistent.

Reply in: Best golf gear for beginners (ladies) — what do I actually need?

Honestly, don’t overcomplicate it at the beginning. What helped me most was: • Comfortable golf shoes (huge difference if you walk the course) • Decent quality golf balls (not the super cheap ones) • A glove that actually fits properly Rangefinder is nice but definitely not necessary early on.

Reply in: Are Rangefinders Worth It? My Experience After 3 Rounds

I’ve been using the Precision Pro NX10 for about a year now, and honestly, I love it. It’s not quite as fast as the Bushnell when locking onto the flag, but for the price, it’s been super reliable. One tip — if you go the budget route, spend a few minutes before your round practicing on a few flags so you get used to how it locks on. Once I did that, my yardages have been spot-on. I also keep a GPS app on my phone as backup in case I leave the rangefinder in the cart (which happens way too often 😅).
