Why Do ALL the Animals on the Golf Course Hate My Friend? 😂🐊🐍
Ladies, I need to know if anyone else has a golfer in their group who apparently has some kind of personal feud with wildlife. We have one. Her name is Michelle. 😂 There are four of us who play together pretty regularly, and I swear every animal on the golf course completely ignores three of us and goes directly after Michelle. A few weeks ago we’re standing near the cart and a bird suddenly starts dive-bombing her head. Not us. Michelle. She’s running around waving her golf towel over her head while the three of us are laughing so hard we can barely stand up. 😂 Then last weekend she walks toward her ball near some rough and suddenly comes SPRINTING back toward the cart yelling: “SNAKE! SNAKE! SNAKE!” 🐍 The snake wasn’t chasing her. It wasn’t even moving. But apparently Michelle wasn’t interested in discussing its intentions. 🤣 But the best one happened near a pond. There was an alligator lying near the water minding its own business. We all gave it plenty of room and drove past. Michelle’s ball, of course, lands closest to it. She looks at us. We look at her. Then she says: “Why is it ALWAYS ME?!” 😂🐊 At this point we’ve decided the animals aren’t randomly bothering her anymore. They know her. Birds see her cart entering the parking lot and probably radio ahead: “She’s here. Everybody get into position.” 🤣 The funniest part is that the rest of us can play an entire round without a single wildlife encounter while Michelle apparently spends 18 holes participating in a nature documentary.

Women Golf Discussion: What’s the Best Advice You’ve Ever Received?
I thought it would be fun to start a women golf discussion about advice — the kind that actually stuck and made a difference in your game. Golf tips are everywhere, but once in a while someone says something that just clicks. For me, the best advice I ever got was: “Finish your swing and trust it.” Once I stopped trying to steer the ball and focused on a full, relaxed finish, my shots became way more consistent — especially with my irons. I love reading women golf discussion threads because the advice always feels more relatable and realistic. We all have different swing speeds, strengths, and goals, and it’s helpful to hear what works for other women golfers. What’s the best golf advice you’ve ever received? Was it about swing technique, mental game, or course management? Did it come from a coach, a friend, or trial and error? Let’s share and learn from each other — you never know what tip might help someone else have their best round yet!
