New Comer

Hi ladies, My name is Christin, and I’m brand new to golf — like never played before new 😅 — but I’ve always wanted to learn, and I finally decided to go for it! I recently started looking into lessons and spending a little time at the driving range, and even though I’m just getting started, I’m already enjoying it. I know it’s going to take some patience, but I’m excited for the journey. I joined this forum because I was hoping to find some friendly women’s golf talk, beginner tips, and maybe even connect with other women who are also new or willing to share advice. 👉 Any tips for a complete beginner? 👉 What should I focus on first — swing basics, short game, or just getting comfortable on the course? 👉 And how long did it take you to feel confident playing your first round? I’d also love to eventually join a women’s golf outing once I get a little more comfortable. Looking forward to learning from all of you and hopefully improving step by step! 💚 -Christin
